The eternal question…what to wear for your shoot. We had a family shoot this weekend and I was reminded of the fact that it is a tough job pulling the clothes together. I actually used the color palette that you see here. I chose a patterned blouse with cream, blues and rust colors, laid it on the bed and added clothes for each member of the family. In the past, we have recommended little pattern and muted colors, but I say throw caution to the wind! We still do not recommend graphics or logos, and suggest that you have only one or two people with patterns in their clothing. You don’t want the wardrobe to be the focus; it’s all about the family.
