Kim Morris of the uber cool The Bee boutique in Bay Head (Seagirt and Long Branch locations too) invited friends and clients to meet Mac and Jennifer recently. Women’s dresses in silks and vibrant colors, flowing wine, tiki torches and hand food set the tone. Everyone entered the draw for two complementary beach shoots with Mac, the draw took place next day with Sue Kellog and Jen Dearborn each winning a Portrait session.
Kim stocks the hottest brands of women’s must have summer clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry and accessories. This season there is a definite trend to bright clear colors and flowing fabrics that slide over your curves. Many of the guests were wearing models from this seasons collections. With labels like Trina Turk and Tory Burch plus a more modestly priced rack for bargain hunters this classy boutique just steps from the sand has something for everyone.
Mac exhibited Bay Head beach images of cute kids on the sands and mingled with this gloriously colorful crowd. His Mom, Dad and artist brother Rob Harsthorn drove up from their vacation house at LBI. Party goers stayed late, not deterred by the friendly visit from the local police officer just on sunset. New friends were made and eight couples signed up for family photo shoots at the beach in late July.
