This was our second shoot with Mac and it was equally as wonderful the second time around. Mac is gifted at making everyone in the family feel comfortable and at ease, and obviously extremely artistic.

You will not believe the firestorm our holiday card has stirred at the firm. Tremendous kudos and thanks to Mac, I don't know how we are going to top it this coming year.

We have been getting photos with Hartshorn since our 1st kid (who is 10 now) was 3 months old. We are always impressed by the way the photos are able to capture our kids' genuine smiles and energy. We love that our photos always have interesting components and aren't just typical family portraits. Highly recommend... they are the best.

Mac is simply an amazing artist who captures the joy and personality of people in his photography. I have used him since my teenage girls were babies. Mac has been capturing our family since before they arrived -- over 10 years and counting. His beautiful images make everything we feel come to life. We recently had our first professional photo session at Hartshorn Portraiture with Mac and had a great experience! Our wild 2 and 3 year old little boys had so much fun engaging with him. Mac’s patience and persistence with them (all while taking stunning photos!!) made it such a fun experience for all of us! Highly recommend!

We have never had professional photos taken so we didn’t know what to expect but are thrilled with the images. Our kids (3 and 7) took to Mac immediately and had a blast which is evident by the photos. They have natural smiles and pure joy in their eyes. We can’t wait to see the finished products once the photos we chose are framed and delivered. The whole experience was enjoyable, professional and actually fun.

This was our Family's first experience with getting a Professional Photo Shoot, it was such a wonderful experience and saying the Photographs came out gorgeous would be an understatement, they literally took my breath away, the love between a Father and a Son was captured in a timeless piece of Art thanks to Hartshorn Portraiture, the Client service is excellent and extremely fair, we can not wait until we get to work with this great and talented team again!

You cannot put a value on quality photographs! These people are the best hands down! Anyone with a camera can "take a picture" but it takes an artist to capture a moment and Mac is an artist by all definitions of the word. We used Hartshorn Portraiture to capture our two daughters and they created memories that will be with us forever.

We are thrilled with our pictures as is our entire family. Mac was a delight to deal with and he managed getting all 16 of us to " cooperate" and have fun while doing it.
