Let’s pretend that Spring is here…peach and purple make a nice change from the normal pastel colors that are traditional for this time of year.
I love these colors together… the purple and soft orange work so well and contrast beautifully with accents of cream and the blue jeans. Our family had a studio session last year and used the same colors with great success.
- Dad — Secret Wash Gingham Shirt in meridian purple with boot cut jeans in dark wash -J Crew.
- Mum — Linen gazebo trousers — J Crew, flower top with collar — Zara
- Girls-Purple shirt from 525 Girls and Jeans by Le Pink from Stage Left in Franklin Lakes,
- Cotton Lawn Fleur top - Crew Cuts.
The patterns work because of the limited colors and the different textures add dimension.
Mac does not like too much jewelry but I have seen some funky necklaces on young girls at session that look great.
I have not included shoes as the casual setting and hardwood floors of our studio call for bare feet but remember to get a pedicure before your session!
