There are too many vineyards to count, the Australians are proud to support the wine makers of their country and the wine lists at restaurants are substantial.
Of course we visited a few “cellar doors” but my favorite had to be Tahblik Wines.
Established in 1860, it’s one of Australia’s most historic vineyards. It is still family owned and has a fantastic underground cellar-with 3 foot thick walls– which we were able to explore unaccompanied!
Tomorrow, I’ll revisit the lush forest of the Yarra Valley.
