Sweet Dani B. Spreads Her Cookie Love in Hoboken
During our very successful open studio tour last weekend at the Monroe Center for the Arts I met Dani Fiore, founder of Sweet Dani B.
Who is she, you may ask? Dani is an extremely creative individual, a cookie decorating expert and frequent guest on the Martha Stewart Show. She spreads the cookie love literally and figuratively with her Cookie Icing Parties and Workshops. Dani leads her “icing apprentices” in demos on how to ice various fun and fabulous decorative cookies.
Award Winning Chili
Each year our kids’ school, Elysian Charter, has a chili cook off to raise money for the school. Parents can enter their chili dishes which are judged by the official ‘chili judges’ and also by ‘popular choice’. This year, the girls and I decided to enter the competition and cooked up Jamie Oliver’s Chili con Carne.
