Breakfast with SantaThere are times when a visit with Santa needs to be more than just a moment on the knee! We’ve gathered the best opportunities closest to home. Travel times listed are by car from Hoboken and Jersey City but for NYC locations skip the hassles of traffic and parking and take advantage of NY Waterways kids ride free promotion for the holidays: up to  two children ride free with a paying adult!

December 2nd-24th Saturdays and Sundays at 8:45 am and 10:30 am  (Travel time Hoboken & JC 31 minutes) Bring Christmas to life for your family with a magical morning with Santa at Stella 34 Trattoria on the 6th floor at Macy’s. Make kids’ Christmas dreams come true when they meet and have breakfast with Santa Claus (and his elves) in the store that brought you “The Miracle on 34th Street.” Adults may enjoy an early morning Prosecco Bellini. Prices begin at $50 for adults, $35 for children ages 3–10 Reserve online seating and availability is limited

Sunday December 3rd, 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM  (Travel time Hoboken & JC 1 hour) For a local farm feeling meet Santa at Alstede Farms Start with hot apple cider before hoping on a wagon ride to the harvest hall or jumping on the heated shuttle bus. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast and a visit from Santa himself. (Bring your camera!)$17/adults, $15/kids, age 2 and under are free

Now until 12/24 dates and times vary  (Travel time from Hoboken & JC 24 minutes) Have Breakfast with Santa at Rockefeller Center  at the Sea Grill or Rock Center Cafe  Book online. and save time! Gaze at Rockefeller Center’s sparkling Christmas tree and the skaters twirling on the rink as you dig into breakfast with Santa and his elves. Saturday, December 9th 11:30 AM- 2:00 PM (Travel time from Hoboken & JC 24 minutes) Take a ride and have lunch with Santa on Spirit Cruises  leaving from Pier 61 in Chelsea- there’s a kid-friendly lunch buffet as well as tasty adult fare. You’ll spend two hours sailing around New York harbor with Jolly Old St. Nick. Pictures are available for a fee. Prices begin at $35.95 for children, $59.90 for adults

Sunday December 10th 9:30 AM- 12:00 PM  (Travel time Hoboken & JC 1 hour) The Junior Woman’s Club of Sparta presents a Santa Breakfast at The Lake Mohawk Country Club. Join them for holiday games, story-time, a craft and more! Plus a special visit and photo opportunity with Santa! Dine on: Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, gourmet sausage, applewood smoked bacon, assorted muffins and bagels, seasonal fruit, and fresh juice, plus cocktails from the cash bar. Seating is limited.Pricing is $20 for children and $24 for adults. Advance purchase required.

Sunday December 10th  9:00 AM- 10:30 AM—(Travel time Hoboken & JC 31 minutes) Share a holiday experience that includes a jolly “ho-ho-ho!” with Santa at the NEW Rockefeller Center  American Girl store. Your child and their doll will get a special photo opportunity with Santa. This festive event includes one 5×7 keepsake photo per child, as well as a delicious meal to enjoy during your visit. $28 per person. Saturdays December 2, 2017; December 9, 2017, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays through December 22, 2017 Times vary (Travel time Hoboken & JC 45 minutes)  The ultimate NYC Santa breakfast is actually tea with Santa and Eloise at the Plaza Hotel– enjoy hot tea, pink lemonade, pink hot chocolate, assorted tea sandwiches, fruit skewers, mini s’mores, chocolate chip cookies and candy cane cupcakes. Write a letter to Eloise together. Santa will read the children a story. Each family will receive a photo package with Santa that includes a choice of either (2) 4×6 OR (1) 5×7 and a digital download.
