Bay Head Summer

Bay Head on the Jersey Shore is a charm­ing sea­side vil­lage where locals cycle on easy rid­ing cruis­ers to the beach or to drinks and din­ner. The streets off the main high­way are quiet and tran­quil where kids ride scoot­ers and play ball in the street with the neigh­bours. Crabbing is a local pas­time and surf cast­ing is the order of the morn­ing. Groups of yoga pro­po­nents gather after dawn to stretch on the peace­ful sands, then later the familes arrive on their cycles tow­ing kids and kayaks for the days fun in the sun.

The Bay Head yacht club is the social hub, its courts, mari­nas and din­ing fac­i­tilies resound­ing with the quiet plea­sures of sum­mer on court and under sail. What could be more relax­ing than an iced tea on the veran­dah over­look­ing the bay or din­ner with friends in the twi­light as the lights come on across the water.
