Busy but fun, our family closed the Summer with a six-week stay in Bay Head at the beach. Of course, Mac worked very hard but we carved out time to socialize and spend time together as a family.

We celebrated Mac’s 50th Birthday with a three-day surprise celebration. During the spring I had contacted a few of Mac’s oldest friends and invited them to the beach for this special event. As friends from “way back when” appeared on our doorstep Mac was speechless and event more so when he received The Monster Bike – see the photo. It was a memorable weekend filled with friends, drinks, great food and ended with a sunset cruise in the Bay.
Madeline, Cameron and I had a few craft projects that we worked on including our biggest mirror yet and funky shell and driftwood chimes. Our friend Mr. Apple drilled holes in shells and wood that we found on the beach and we strung them onto twine to create ‘works of art’.

Mac taught the girls how to sail on our little sunfish and we managed to dodge Hurricane Irene by heading to the Pocono Hills for the weekend. Neither Hoboken or Bay Head seemed like a safe haven at the time.
Thanks so much to all our clients that joined us at the beach for a photo-shoot. You will see their images in the coming weeks on our blog.
Now it’s time to get back to real life!
