She Said “YES”! An Engagement Photoshoot

When Devin called our stu­dio to book a pro­posal shoot we were thrilled! Under the ruse of a birth­day gift, Devin and Morgan met me and my assis­tant Milena at Hamilton Park in Jersey City for a cou­ples photo session.

In the month lead­ing up to the shoot, we met with Devin and dis­cussed when he would pro­pose and what our code word would be so that he knew I was ready when he was. I knew that he wanted to pro­pose dur­ing the lat­ter half of the shoot and we were all set for an incred­i­ble engage­ment session.

We took some great shots of the cou­ple around the park and then they ran home for an out­fit change which also gave Devin a chance to grab the ring. When Morgan came came out of the house with­out Devin I was won­der­ing what was tak­ing him so long… I later found out that when he hid the ring in the inside pocket of his blazer it fell into the lin­ing of his jacket and he couldn’t get it out! Panicked, he took a pair of scis­sors and cut the ring out of the jacket!

As you can see, that was the only curve ball in this pro­posal photo shoot. Devin pro­posed and Morgan said “Yes”!

We wish this cou­ple all the hap­pi­ness in the word as they begin a new chap­ter in their lives.
