Over the years our studio has been involved in various fundraisers. After considering several different options Mac and I have decided on Baby Buggy for 2015. Founded by Jessica Seinfeld, Baby Buggy provides essential clothing, gear and services to families in need. Baby Buggy’s product distributions are combined with comprehensive social service assistance, such as job training, financial literacy classes, and parenting support & education. For example: A father receives a crib after participating in a 16-week fatherhood program that includes completing an infant CPR class and a healthy relationship workshop.
During the months of February, March and April we will donate the funds to provide a stroller for a family in need for every session booked.
The event package is $250 and includes:
*A 30 minute in studio portrait session at our Hoboken Studio
* One 8 x 10 standard print
Price: $250 (a $400 value)
Clients are invited into our studio to view a slideshow presentation of their images a few weeks later.

Hartshorn for the Community
Mac and Jennifer Hartshorn believe that supporting the community is a great way to give back to those who have supported Hartshorn Portraiture. Volunteer groups, as well as non-profits do so much to help our communities, but they can’t do it alone. Schools are suffering in every state and children are in need.
Mac’s photography packages are donated to schools and organizations in the surrounding community that focus on education, health and wellbeing. The IDEAL School, Stevens Co-Operative, CASA and Summit Speech School are a few of the schools that the Hartshorn’s were able to support this past year. Foundations such as HFA, The Help for Children Foundation, MDA and Hoboken’s Homeless Shelter, received packages to auction at their fundraising events. Winning bidders receive up to $2000 each of Mac’s photography services and artwork.
The Hoboken Family Alliance was one of the first foundations that Mac and Jennifer supported back in 2005, this year, their number of recipients rose to nearly 50! In 2010, the couple donated their photography services and artwork to the value of $90,000 in a very difficult year for fundraisers.
“For me, giving back is a vital part of a full and rewarding life. What could be more fulfilling than doing what you love to do (Photography) while contributing to the quality of life of others in need within your own community?” says Mac. ”Hoboken and its surrounding area have been great to us. We love living and working in this vibrant community.”
